AqualisBraemar Set to Ramp Up Its Adjustment Business

AqualisBraemar is set to launch an international recruitment drive to ramp up its adjustment business serving all aspects of the oil, gas, power and marine sectors.

AqualisBraemar’s adjusting service specialises in the investigation and resolution of insurance claims and commercial disputes within both the energy (offshore and onshore), power and marine industries. Key services include loss adjusting, expert witness, dispute resolution and risk assessment.

“While general activity levels in the energy and marine industries tend to fluctuate with the oil price and other parameters, a growing world economy continues to increase the total amount of industrial assets in operation. The latter tends to translate into an increase in disputes and insurance claims, which is where we play an important role for our clients,” says Geoff Jones, group managing director of AqualisBraemar’s adjusting business.

AqualisBraemar is looking to fill several positions in London and Singapore, plus to increase the size of its current teams in the USA, Mexico and United Arab Emirates. The total number of hires will depend on the level of qualified personnel available.

“There is available work in the market and hiring new personnel will allow us to serve both existing and potential new clients even better,” adds Geoff Jones.

New adjustment head in the Americas

Charles Honner, currently a director in AqualsBraemar’s adjusting team in Singapore, has been appointed to lead the group’s adjusting division in the Americas, effective from 1 January 2020. Honner will be based in Houston, USA.

AqualisBraemar is a leading offshore, marine and loss adjusting consultancy to the energy, shipping and insurance industries. The company is part of Oslo-listed consultancy group AqualisBraemar ASA.
